Reservation Policies at Bear Lake Reserve

We offer 24-hour on-site check-in and check-out service at the front desk in our Greeter's Cottage. The Bear Lake Reserve staff eagerly awaits your arrival and is looking forward to showing you why our North Carolina hospitality is world-renowned. Our Greeter's Cottage staff will assist guests with local knowledge of recreational activities, make reservations for dining, spa treatments, babysitting and area and resort activity bookings.

Rates, Reservations and Cancellations: 

• Rates quoted exclude taxes and resort fees
• Rates vary by season and may be higher during holidays.
• Reservations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged the full amount
• Reservations cancelled 30 days or under will forfeit all payments
• No refunds for early departures
• Fresh towels and light cleaning will occur mid-week on stays of 6 nights or more
• Minimum 2-night stay may be required
• Thanksgiving Holiday period is subject to peak season rates and requires a minimum 4-night stay Wednesday through Saturday.

Housekeeping:

A non-refundable housekeeping fee of $97.50 will be charged to your account upon departure. Fresh towels and a light cleaning will occur mid-week on stays of 6 nights or more. If you prefer, you may request additional housekeeping services; a $35.00 fee is charged per hour for this service.

Deposits and Payments: 

• Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival
• Reservations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged the full amount
• Payment is refundable if cancelled 31 days prior to arrival
• A MasterCard, Visa or American Express card is required at the time of check in for resort charges

Pet Policy: 

We have limited availability of units that allow pets. If you would like to bring your pet, please make this request at the time you make your reservation. The Reservations staff will do its best to secure a pet-friendly cottage or condo for you. There is a $75.00 non-refundable pet fee.
